Ulysses M2S is by Ekstein, who was ranked by the WBFSH as the world’s 38th best sire of international showjumpers. Ekstein's dam Zaniki was a Ster Preferent Prestatie mare and a full-sister to the international showjumper and approved sire Palfrenier. Rolf-Goran Bengtssen‘s Mac Kinley is out of a great grand-daughter of Lucky Boy xx. ![]() ![]() Ahsianita is out of Harnita, a ster Preferent Prestatie KWPN showjumping mare from the Dutch -nita mareline and by the famous Olympic Ahorn, a Preferent stallion representing the famous Holsteiner lineage 242,which is distinguished by producing top international showjumpers. ![]() ![]() Harnita's dam-line contains all Preferent mares: Tornita (by Erdball xx)is Preferent; Ornita (by Marco Polo) is Keur Preferent; Lanita B (by Sinaeda) is Model Preferent Prestatie; and Anita B is Model Preferent.Among the offspring Harnita has produced is Nanita (by Burggraaf), a 1.40 - 1.50m showjumper with Emanuela Marcuzzo of Italy, Marnita-S (by Acord II), a KWPN Keur mare, and Top's Omnita R (by Burggraaf), a KWPN Ster mare active in sport in both dressage and showjumping. In July 2003 at the KWPN Central Keuring at Den Ham a three-year-old Ster daughter of Harnita, named Tarnita, and sired by Numero Uno, won the competition with the highest score for loose-jumping. Harnita's damsire Erdball produced Nick Skelton's great international showjumper Apollo, two-time winner of the Grand Prix of Aachen, winner of the Dublin Grand Prix, Individual Bronze Medal winner at the World Championship, Individual Bronze Medal winner at the European Championship, and twice Team Gold Medal winner at the European Championship. Apollo shares the same dam, Niki B, with Ekstein's dam, Aniki. Ahsianita's damsire, Ahorn competed at top International level consistently placed in World Cups and Grand Prix competitions representing the Netherlands in Nations Cup competitions and was short-listed for the Barcelona Olympics, which earned him the prefix 'Olympic'. Ahorn is descended from one of the famous Holstein Families, no. 242 and is related to Joost, Alcatraz and Locarno. Ahorn's offspring continue the success with a number of progeny competing at International level. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Dutch Breeding, Ahorn, whose progeny have earned over $1,000,000 in prize money, has been awarded keur status by the KWPN. Ahorn's dam produced 4 approved stallions and so far 3 international showjumpers. Found in Ahsianita's pedigree on the damsire is Marco Polo, the foundation sire of the modern Dutch Warmblood sporthorse. One of the greatest sires of the Netherlands, famous for his hereditary jumping talent and obliging character. He sired many international show jumpers, approved sons & producing daughters. Marco Polo successful daughters have produced Zadok (by Nimmerdor) and Concorde (by Voltaire). November, 2009--- Morningside Stud's home-bred stallion Wang Chung M2S was ranked second in the French Federation's "Future Elite" international showjumping series for 6-year-old horses. Wang Chung has been approved with BWP.
