Description:
Exceptional by colour, descent and talent. Canturo is the last approved son of the unforgettable, high-profiled show jumping producer CANTUS from the internationally desired line 162 came to Klein Offenseth. Like pearls on a string he combines the big names of the Holstein breeding : his dam’s sire is the outstanding CALANDO I, German Champion in 1984 (Karsten Huck) . Than comes the valuable breeded LANDEGO followed by the thoroughbreds PANNIER xx and MANOMETER xx.

Performances and Results:
His achievements are impressive: Both 5 and 6 years old CANTURO competed in the finals of the German Young Horse Championships and at the age of 7 in the finals of the World Championships for Young Horses in Zangersheide. At the age of 8 he was victorious and placed a.o in the CSI’s of Vienna, Rome, La Baule and the Swedish Derby in Falsterbo. At the age of 9 CANTURO was victorious in Spruce Meadows and nominated as a participant for the Olympic Games.

In 2004 , from his first crop, he sired the Champion of the Holsteiner Stallion Approval. In 2005, CANTURO is victorious in the price of Europe at the CHIO Aachen. Highlight of the season 2006 are for the stallion and his rider Bernardo Alves the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, while his son CANTURANO demonstrated the inheritance of his father CANTURO through a clear victory in the 70-days stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf .

Ahsianita inherited large doses of show jumping genes. Ahsianita is a daughter of Ulysses M2S (Ekstein x Voltaire) who is currently competing in international young horse classes at 1.40m with good results. Ulysses M2S is by Ekstein, who was ranked by the WBFSH as the world’s 38th best sire of international showjumpers. Ekstein's dam Zaniki was a Ster Preferent Prestatie mare and a full-sister to the international showjumper and approved sire Palfrenier. Ulysses M2S' dam Gudrun was a Keur Preferent Prestatie mare and his is damsire Voltaire was one of history’s greatest
sires of showjumpers.

Harnita's dam-line contains all Preferent mares: Tornita (by Erdball xx)is Preferent; Ornita (by Marco Polo) is Keur Preferent; Lanita B (by Sinaeda) is Model Preferent Prestatie; and Anita B is Model Preferent.Among the offspring Harnita has produced is Nanita (by Burggraaf), a 1.40 - 1.50m showjumper with Emanuela Marcuzzo of Italy, Marnita-S (by Acord II), a KWPN Keur mare, and Top's Omnita R (by Burggraaf), a KWPN Ster mare active in sport in both dressage and showjumping. In July 2003 at the KWPN Central Keuring at Den Ham a three-year-old Ster daughter of Harnita, named Tarnita, and sired by Numero Uno, won the competition with the highest score for loose-jumping. Harnita's damsire Erdball produced Nick Skelton's great international showjumper Apollo, two-time winner of the Grand Prix of Aachen, winner of the Dublin Grand Prix, Individual Bronze Medal winner at the World Championship, Individual Bronze Medal winner at the European Championship, and twice Team Gold Medal winner at the European Championship. Apollo shares the same dam, Niki B, with Ekstein's dam, Aniki.
Ahsianita's damsire, Ahorn competed at top International level consistently placed in World Cups and Grand Prix competitions representing the Netherlands in Nations Cup competitions and was short-listed for the Barcelona Olympics, which earned him the prefix 'Olympic'. Ahorn is descended from one of the famous Holstein Families, no. 242 and is related to Joost, Alcatraz and Locarno. Ahorn's offspring continue the success with a number of progeny competing at International level. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Dutch Breeding, Ahorn, whose progeny have earned over $1,000,000 in prize money, has been awarded keur status by the KWPN.
Ahorn's dam produced 4 approved stallions and so far 3 international showjumpers.

In Ahsianita's pedigree on the damsire is Marco Polo, the foundation sire of the modern Dutch Warmblood sporthorse. One of the greatest sires of the Netherlands, famous for his hereditary jumping talent and obliging character. He sired many international show jumpers, approved sons & producing daughters. Marco Polo successful daughters have produced Zadok (by Nimmerdor) and Concorde (by Voltaire). In the USA, Hap Hansen's Dalfsen and Debbie Schaffner's Den Ham were both out of Marco Polo daughters.

November, 2009--- Wang Chung M2S was ranked second in the French Federation's "Future Elite" international showjumping series for 6-year-old horses.He has been approved with BWP. The similarity between Ahsianita and her half brother Wang Chung M2S can be seen in her jumping style and athleticism.
